Are all Scuba courses the same?

Absolutely Not!  Courses differ in quality of training, condition of Scuba equipment supplied, items that are required to purchase, course format, class size and certifications issued.

 

Why is PADI the certification of choice?

PADI has grown into the largest, most accepted certification agency in the world.  This is mainly due to the quality of educational materials and instructor training.  PADI is also the leader of continuing education, offering the diver who wants to acquire additional skills and experience the option to do so.

 

What is included in all the courses?

Included in all our courses are your crew packs (if needed not all classes involve books) all equipment you will need to complete the course. Of course all pool time and instruction fees are included in the price. There are no hidden costs in our courses. We try to be up front with the price of each course.

 

Is the Scuba diving course easy?

Fortunately, you do not require a master’s degree in rocket science although you should have some reading skills.  Being comfortable in the water and having some basic swimming ability is mandatory and there is a medical statement to complete.

 

In Jasper how do you get extra air?

We support the Jasper Fire Hall. We have an arrangement to get air from them.For most courses you will need to get 2 tanks filled here. It will cost you $8.00 a tank.When there we have found this is the fastest and most efficient way to run the class.

 

What ages can dive?

You can dive from 10 years (10 and 12 year olds have a few restrictions) up to any age. As long as you are healthy and have answered you medical form you can dive. The medical form is to be filled out by all students. If you answer yes to any question then you have to get a medical form filled out by the doctor.
